 atthew Paul Hoos was raised in Calgary and from his
earliest recollection wanted to become an actor. His career started at an early age; By twelve Matt had landed the lead role
in a thirteen episode television series entitled "Down to Earth", as well as several dinner theatre productions around town, and made frequent appearances
on the home video shows of all his friends. Matt worked in theatre throughout high school, leading him into the theatre
department of the University of Calgary. After starring in several University productions, Matt
became the youngest member of Calgarys prestigious Shadow Productions. Like all
good stories, Matt felt the calling to set out and seek his fortune in the world and found his way to the bright lights
and bustling streets of Vancouver. Matt graduated from the respected Vancouver Film School in 1999, the same year he formed
Laughing Day Productions whose inaugural theatre production attained both critical
and audience acclaim. Matt is looking forward to touring the show in the summer of 2000. What does the future hold for
our protagonist? Only time will tell.
